Understanding the Five Elements of Design

Design elements are the fundamental aspects of any visual design that include shape, color, space, shape, line, value and texture. The five elements (in order from abstract to concrete) consist of strategy, scope, structure, skeleton and surface. Each layer depends on and is based on the layer below it. A good contrast can really help a design stand out.

Choosing colors that complement each other and that contrast well can help the message of a material to reach the viewer more effectively than if that same message were presented in a more traditional way. In this article an important and basic question of the analysis of the surface of the composite material was raised, that is, the basic element of selection that the microstructures of the material were well characterized according to the research theme of the material. Here, the five types of basic elements for selection were proposed, which were separately ellipse, regular triangle, rectangle, square and circle. At first, the counting methods and the rules of the area radius base in elements and images were introduced, and the fusion difference formula, then the design of block experiments in modern statistics was used to choose between the five elements. Finally, through experiments and analysis, the result of the selection was that the ellipse element was the most appropriate among five elements.

Meanwhile, in this article it was pointed out with respect to the image radius area based on the element that the approximation extent of the ellipse was the most appropriate among five elements. The drawings, paintings, engravings, photographs, flat fabrics, flat basketry (such as rugs) and collages are two-dimensional. We can consider them in terms of their line, shape, tone, texture, depth and (if the work is not in black and white), color. In traditional African art, the two-dimensional work consists mainly of flat textiles and some flat bead panels, as well as Ethiopian paintings and illuminated Islamic manuscripts. Contemporary African art includes drawings, engravings, photographs and collages across the continent.

Although the style, theme and momentum can vary considerably, the elements of the design do not. The five elements of UX design are one of the most common frameworks used by UX designers to create successful designs. Series of different shapes connected by traditional narrow streets, column screens or arches. The urban design element that comprises these is alignment. Aligning elements in a way that is visually appealing is an incredibly important part of graphic design.

This is not animation, although animation is an end product of movement as well as other design elements. The repetition places special emphasis on particular parts of a design and draws attention to those elements. Stylistic analysis recognizes key visual aspects of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects by analyzing elements and principles of design. Grouping similar elements together and varying size may seem scattered but in reality gives continuity and unity to a design. Balance: The elements of a design converge to create a design or arrangement of parts that appear to be a whole with equilibrium. Especially important when it comes to customers where your product or service is more important than drawing up design elements.

The discipline of learning power of these elements and formatting them within design principles is responsibility of designer.
